I switched gears on this one. It's a sketch of one of Degas' ballerina drawings. I'm thinking maybe I should try my hand at drawing from master works for a while...I'm so rusty! Maybe not as a part of the 21 Day Challenge, just in general. Sorry there's no new characters today, but I'll probably get that started back up on those for the next one.
I've got an SCBWI meeting tonight, so I'll keep you posted with any new news. (o:

When ever I'm in a creative funk I start to copy jewelry from the Sundance Catalog - for some reason it helps reignite the creative process. By the time I'm done the piece I was working on doesn't bear a resemblance to the piece in the catalog - it's just part of the inspiration.
That's such a great idea! It really is inspirational and refreshing to take a close look at someone else's work for a change.
